Kick start your day with nutrient and fiber rich liquid breakfast! I love to share this green smoothie recipe with all my clients. It has made a big difference in my and my family’s lives.
- Spinach or Kale
- 2-3 stalks Celery
- Pineapple chunks (frozen is best)
- Juice of 1/2 Lemon
- 5-6 ice cubes
- 1/2 cup filtered cold water
Use organic veggies and fruit when possible. First, fill entire blender with spinach or kale and add water. Mix that well. Then add celery to blender and blend well. Follow with chopped up apple, pear, banana and pineapple chunks and top off with ice cubes. If you have a powerful blender, use the whole fruit, including the core and seeds. Blend that up and finish with the juice of lemon. Delicious!
Enjoy at least 8 ounces on an empty stomach so as to readily absorb the nutrients. Can be kept in refrigerator for 2 days, but this green smoothie is best when cold and fresh. Yum!
